The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation of new system components and system integration, in addition to leading a team based in NJ & India. They will also provide level 2/3 production support, as required.This role will be well suited to a candidate who wants to lead others and at the same time remain hands on with development. The main interfaces will be with the global development team, product development team, Prime Finance middle office, client service, funding, and risk management team as well as with other technical teams in other locations, mainly New York, NJ and India.The key skills are Java/J2EE, Data warehouse, ETL & Caching products. MS SQL and knowledge of the Investment Banking industry (Risk & Margin, Equities, FI, Futures, Options, Repo and OTC Derivatives).
Qualifications
- Systems Design - Minimum of 8+ years of strong server side software development background
- Strong Java, Servlets, and Web Services knowledge (J2EE/JSP/Struts/Spring Framework/XML)
- Experience in Weblogic - Strong RDBMS experience (Sybase/MS SQL). Knowledge of Gemfire Cache or competing technologies is a plus.
- Unix, Linux, Windows Server and scripting skills (Korn shell/PERL)
- Experience in C#, .Net is desirable.
- Real time communications using Tibco EMS, MQ, JMS, MS Messaging, MSMQ
