    Job Description

    You will be part of a leadership team working with a group of experienced professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Assisting with developing an inspections approach for foreign private issuers and U.S. multinational companies that have adopted International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
    • Training inspections staff on the IFRS inspections methodology and other technical matters;
    • Leading inspections of registrants that have clients that have adopted IFRS which includes:
    - Interviewing certain key executives at accounting firms to understand the quality control environment;
    - Assisting inspections team members with resolving technical issues;
    - Reviewing inspections team members’ findings and working papers; and - Meeting with accounting firms to discuss the results of our findings;

    • Preparing inspections reports, including presentations to the Board;
    • Serving as a technical advisor for certain IFRS, auditing and industry specific issues;
    • Assisting in the recruitment of highly talented professionals;
    • Assisting in the assignment, review, supervision and evaluation of other inspections professionals; and
    • Assisting others with special projects such as developing and/or updating inspections programs.

    Qualifications

    • Current CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license required;
    • Recent progressively responsible experience in public accounting including experience in the audit of publicly traded multi-national companies;
    • Recent experience performing audits of clients present financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
    • Attainment of the level of audit partner, with audit sign-off authority and lead interaction with client executives and audit committees;
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MBA/Master's degree a plus;
    • Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, IFRS and PCAOB auditing standards;
    • Worked independently in a fast paced, collaborative, team environment; • Superior communications skills, both written and verbal;
    • Specialized language skills a plus;
