We are currently assisting our client, a growing energy and oil trading firm. in their search for a Chicago based accounting director. As the accounting director you will be responsible for leading and overseeing month/quarter close, general ledger accounting, internal controls and best practices. As this is a leadership role the director of accounting will be responsible for oversight and mentoring of staff, implementation of new ideas and contributing a leadership vision to the group and firm.This is an opportunity to be a leader within a high growth industry. Who we are looking for :
10-15 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience accounting for derivatives, think futures and options. Big 4 public accounting experience. CPA History working within a trading environment Exposure to energy/oil a big plus What's on offer :
Base salary between 130K and 160K in line with your experience level plus bonus and full benefits.
