Description Project Lead will be responsible for the architecting, implementing and maintaining projects for the various Credit Data Ownership (CDO) programs under Credit Risk Interface (CRI). The candidate would be working closely with the requirements team, business users to understand Business Requirements and manage a group of people through design, develop and test phases of the project. The candidate would be working closely with the offshore team providing the technical guidance, design and will be responsible for the timely delivery of the project. He/ she will be involved in the requirements analysis phase of the project. The candidate would be responsible for interacting with multiple project teams during the project implementation. The candidate will be required to be able to demonstrate strong leadership and will need to contribute hands-on.
Responsibilities Lead a team of developers working on the requirements analysis, design, development and testing of application components. Position would require both leadership and hands-on development work working closely with the developers and the project manager Analyzes functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. Works with other senior technical members/architects to achieve the same Resolves the most critical application and technical problems. Sets example as a leader and mentors other members Analyzes performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software and/or application components Suggest means of improvement Works collaboratively with team members distributed across multiple locations on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts

Qualifications
Technical Skills Needed Strong project management experience of medium to large applications Complete understanding of SDLC process and iterative development methodology Strong experience in J2EE technologies in a web development environment (XML, XSL, Web Services, JMS, Spring Framework, SOA Architecture, Hibernate) Experience in developing Rich Internet Application (RIA) using AJAX or Flex Strong Object Oriented Development experience with end-to-end application design and development Oracle database development experience including, but not limited to, creating stored procedures, query optimization, performance tuning Strong experience in designing, documenting enterprise applications by producing Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams etc Good documentation & presentation skills Experience with load testing and performance monitoring tools a plusKnowledge Needed A basic understanding of Finance/Risk Management and Corporate Credit Approval process
Knowledge (cont) Strong software design and development skills Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) in a team environmentQualification Needed A Bachelor's degree in computer science 3 years of project management experience of leading a medium size team. 10 years or more of industry experience in related technologies 7 years or more of experience designing and implementing Oracle tables , statements, triggers and stored procedures Solid ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with source code management, SDLC life cycle management, client management Familiarity and working experience with all the components of a multi-tier web based architecture Experience working in an on-shore/off-shore delivery model desired Excellent Communication skill - both written and verbal Demonstrated ability of leadership and deliver in a fast paced environment
