Description OVERVIEW: We are part of the GFTS Technology organization specifically supporting Financial Applications for all of Citi. Involved in Financial Reporting and Control systems. We are looking for a strong self motivated individual capable of working independently and in a team supporting an existing system and developing new system in the area of Intercompany & Settlement function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The requirements and responsibilities for all aspects of the Senior Development role include (but are not limited to) the following: • Work as an integral member of a development team in the design development and support of Intercompany & Settlement Applications. • Maintain and communicate timelines and status relative to business objectives. • Mentorship and adherence to corporate and department coding best practices. • Hands on development/execution of software designs pursuant to business requirements and goals. • Hands on Production Support.
EXPECTED OUTCOMES (WHAT WILL SUCCESS LOOK LIKE IN 12 MONTHS) This position is critical for both tactical and strategic projects this year. Within 12 months the successful candidate will have: • Participated in product development related to implementing/supporting Intercompany & Settlement application. Many of these projects need to be completed by the end of Q4-2010
Qualifications Job Skills The successful candidate will have at least the following qualifications: • 7+ years OO design and development experience. • 5+ years .NET (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET) • 5+ years relational database development including in-depth knowledge of Oracle. • 3+ years web development (including AJAX DHTML XML XSLT). • Experience with Business Objects
Deep understanding of .NET best practices including Design Patterns. Prior experience with Oracle performance tuning. Exceptional communication skills.
