The Yield Book Inc., a division of Citi Markets & Banking, is hiring experienced master graduates for the Accounts/Sales team. The team is responsible for managing institutional account relationships, conducting sales and marketing around the globe, and directing product design and development. As an Account Manager, you will help expand our business by working with top-tier firms to optimize their portfolio and risk management efforts through the expert use of The Yield Book fixed income analytical tools. You will conduct sales demo of our products, and work with developers to define new features and products. A strong quantitative background is required to be proficient in explaining the models and analytics, and a technology background is necessary for discussions with customers about the Yield Book system architecture. Day-to-day, Account Managers manage relationships with institutional money managers, hedge funds, mutual funds, pension funds, central banks, banks, insurance companies, broker/dealers, and other financial service firms. They go on the road to promote the Yield Book products, provide guidance to customers on best practices with our products, and conduct onsite training. In this role, you will work on behalf of customers and prospects with YBI developers, customer service analysts, tech support, legal and billing group. Who We Are Looking For The postion requires candidates with a strong work ethic, personal initiative, and ability to work well in a team environment. In addition, the following attributes are critical to success: excellent communication and relationship-building skills, strong quantitative aptitude, and knowledge of fixed income analytics. Account Managers are expected to have indepth understanding of complex securities and portfolio level analytics. Ability to teach, to work with institutional clients, and to conduct sales is important. In addition, high proficiency with technology will facilitate learning the Yield Book system architecture. Travel will be required. Where We are looking for immediate placement in New York. Ability to speak a second language is a plus. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Citigroup, The Yield Book Inc. works closely with Citi's Fixed Income Sales, Trading, and Research groups to create market-tested, cutting edge security and portfolio level analytics to deliver to institutional investors and market makers worldwide.Qualifications Academic Background: An MBA or an MS with a concentration in Finance, Financial Modeling, or Financial Engineering or CFA, and 5+ years experience in the financial industry is preferred. A BA, BS in Economics, Finance, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, or Operations Research with high academic standing is required. Advanced skills in Powerpoint and Excel are important. Prior experience as a Yield Book user is a plus.
