LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRM WITH OVER !200 INSTITUTIONAL CLIENTS IS LOOKING FOR A SENIOR CLIENT SERVICES/ ACCOUNT MANAGER TO SUPPORT THEIR PRIME BROKERAGE CLIENTS. THE INDIVIDUAL IN THIS POSITION WILL MANAGE A GROUP OF HEDGE FUND AND BUY SIDE CLIENTS AND WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSURING THAT THE CLIENTS ARE RECEIVING THE BEST POSSIBLE SERVICE IN MANAGING ALL OF THE FUNCTIONS THAT THE FIRM PERFORMS FOR THEIR CLIENTS. THERE IS A CLIENT SERVICE GROUP THAT MANAGES THE DAY TO DAY ISSUES WITH THE CLIENT AND WILL ESCALATE ANY ISSUES OR PROBLEMS TO THE ACCOUNT MANAGER AS NEEDED. THE POSITION ALSO INVOLVES TRAVEL TO THE CLIENTS, PARTICIPATING IN TRAINING OF ANY NEW PROCEDURES AND SYSTEMS, AND ATTENDING LOCAL, REGIONAL AND ANNUAL MEETINGS WITH THEIR CLIENTS. THE ACCOUNT MANAGER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IDENTIFYING ANY ADDITIONAL CROSS SELLING OPPRTUNITIES TO THE SALES FORCE. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A COLLEGE DEGREE AND AT LEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A CLIENT SERVICES OR ACCOUNT MANAGER IN A PRIME BROOKERAGE GROUP IN A FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRM.kNOWLEDGE OF BROKERAGE OPERATIONS, EQUITY AND FIXED INCOME PRODUCTS AS WELL AS PORTFOLIO ACCOUNTING AND FINANCING.
