Position Description:
New and exciting Inside Sales management role.
Position Requirements:
- 4 year college degree required; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and five years successful sales experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Positive and protective approach to changing and developing environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
- Sales skills and experience and/or a proven ability to sell
- Manages, leads, develops and evaluates assigned sales staff covering a regional territory ensuring the highest level of market and account penetration, territory management and achievement of assigned quotas in accordance with company goals, strategy, standards and policies
- Trains and develops sales staff in the consultative selling process and best practices, tools and techniques
- Reviews and approves proposals and pricing, contract package terms, commission payments, etc.
- Coordinates and builds cross-functional relationships with sales support and management
- Builds and maintains knowledge of Equifax products, clients, competition, markets, etc. in order to assist the sales force in closing and maintaining accounts
- Additional sales management experience preferred
Position Attributes:
- Thorough knowledge of Equifax products and solutions as well as a strong in-depth understanding of the marketplace and the competition
- Demonstrated history of effective sales management practices and techniques
- Knowledge of and ability to lead others in maximizing consultative selling processes
- Knowledge of and ability to understand and interpret basic cost accounting practices such as P & L's, budgets, depreciation, etc.
- Ability to recruit, select, train, lead, and develop a successful sales force in accordance with changing industry, market and business goals
- Ability to establish clear goals for managing the assigned sales territory along with the logical strategies for meeting and exceeding those goals
- Ability to effectively manage, monitor, and provide timely feedback on performance objective achievement
- Ability to demonstrate not only a use of solid planning processes, but also a thorough use of all company sales tools and practices
- Skill in effective oral and written communication in order to ensure that accurate transference of information between employees, clients and prospects; ability to effectively communicate information, concepts, and ideas to others
- Ability to ensure sales force remains focused, committed, motivated, and fully trained to attain / exceed revenue goals
