    Reporting to the Controller, the Assistant Controller will directly oversee a staff of 2 and be primarily responsible for all revenue related activities including recognition, forecasting, modeling, contract review, and compliance.   The Assistant Controller will also take full responsibility for SEC reporting, technical accounting issues, and the domestic general ledger, as well as overseeing the monthly close, supervising payroll, providing audit support, working closely with staff and management across the organization on various projects and initiatives, and continually seeking to improve processes and procedures to further drive the growth and success of the firm.   

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  CPA strongly preferred.
    • 8-12 of progressive accounting experience within a publicly traded company.
    • Must have a comprehensive understanding of and experience with the full revenue cycle and revenue recognition. 
    • Proven manager with ability to effectively motivate and mentor a successful team.
    • Extensive technical accounting experience with demonstrated SEC and SOX knowledge.
    • Highly analytical and detail oriented.
    • Outstanding communication, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills.
