We are looking for a tax professional to serve as a manager or director with primary experience working with pass-through entities (partnerships, sub-s corporations, sole proprieterships) (typical companies would be law firms, architectural firms, professional service firms, design firms) and who also has assurance experience in the area of reviews and compilations of financial statements. This person will be instrumental in the continued development of the firm and will be a major leader in the area of Tax to professional service firms in the consultative arena.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or graduate degree in taxation (MBT or MST) or equivalent experience
- Substantial experience with tax issues relating to partnerships, LP’s and LLC’s
- Experience in tax compliance and planning
- Experience in financial statement reviews
- Strong tax research skills
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in public accounting
- Passed the uniform CPA
- Experience in working with teams, managing multiple engagements and developing/training professional staff
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with executive level client personnel
