Our client is a global investment bank. Job description :
The ideal candidate will have the following duties: Responsible for daily P&L production attribution. This involves extensive liaison with the trading desk. This person would be the main point of contact for the trading desk in relation to all p/l queries. The position could also involve team management. Understand the drivers behind the daily P&L in relation to market movements. Be the point of contact for that business for the front office and in providing information for back office and other interested parties. Preparation of end-of-day P&L, including daily commentaries Ensure the maintenance of a strong internal control environment Assist with wider group initiatives such as systems migrations. Assist and understand the price verification process of the Credit Trading group and assist in reporting results to Senior Front Office and Product Control management Liaison with other departmental areas (e.g. Front Office, Operations, IT, Financial Control) Process and control development, identification of improvements through documentation and analysis of current procedures Assist in training of junior team members, progressing to review of their work and assisting with management.
