C# Software Developer supporting Corporate Systems
Our client is looking for a dynamic senior developer with 8+ years experience programming. Strong in .Net and all Microsoft technologies. Ability to develop, work with the business partners, prototype and keep all development moving. This person will be involved in building the company intranet and all of the office automation projects. They will own their own projects from end to end for the full SDLC. They must be a strong .Net Developer with good project leadership skills.
Must have strong .Net development experience, Sharepoint, Interwoven and Web 2.0 will be a strong plus! Project leader experience a plus.
Major duties/responsibilities:
Assist in the technical design specification of software solutions.
Interface with users for:
Project requirements
Troubleshooting and assisting end-users in overcoming any
application challenges they face
Develop software projects to scope.
Debug application code.
Program, test and cut over programs according to plan.
Document application code.
Manage and mentor junior programmers or consultants to complete projects.
Collaborate with QA to maintain proper change management procedures.
Interest in acquiring new skills.
Ability to work well with others in a small team.
Ability to share knowledge and insights with other team members.
Responsiveness to user issues and flexibility to handle user changes.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above in computer science.
8 to 10 years in software development.
Display a professional demeanor.
3 - 5 years experience in windows and web development, Java and SQL.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Experience in Object Oriented Design, OOP and best practices.
Experience with .NET and C# a big plus.
Knowledge of document management, esp., Interwoven, a big plus.
Working knowledge of Crystal Reports, WebServices, AJAX, Web 2.0 a plus.
