Job Description
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for supervising the accounting for the International operations of their investment banking division. This role will report to the Group Controller. This opportunity offers an excellent growth track as the company is currently in a growth mode. This position will be heavily involved in financial reporting especially with regard to IFRS. This position requires Financial Services industry experience coupled with an in depth understanding of GAAP and IFRS. Public Accounting experience is strongly desired as well as a CPA or parts of the CPA exam passed. This individual should have the ability to research and resolve complex accounting issues. Supervisory experience, superior communication skills, and prior SEC reporting experience are strongly desired.
