Job Description
The Account Representative plays a significant role in the branch through initial and frequent contact with borrowers. In this position you will be responsible for contacting borrowers to advise them of their loan contract responsibilities and persuade them to bring their delinquent accounts current through payment negotiations. Duties include timely and effective collection of delinquent accounts; skip tracing, resolving customer disputes, collateral disposal and scheduling repossessions. This position will work closely with all team members in the branch to achieve monthly goals.
Required Experience
2-5 years of successful collections experience, preferably in the areas of auto or consumer finance (captive, non-captive and 3rd party experience considered); job stability, strong attention to detail, professional and persuasive communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of FDCPA regulations, ability to thrive and be motivated by a fast-paced team environment; sound judgment, adaptability, problem solving and strong computer skills required. Valid driver’s license and state required auto insurance.
