BENEFITS
Quantum offers a competitive, global compensation package for all of its employees. Our philosophy is to provide compensation at levels that attract, retain, and motivate talent, while aligning with the practices of our peer technology companies. At Quantum, your total compensation is a combination of your base pay, incentives (bonus program, commission, and/or recognition awards), stock, and benefits.
Compensation
We strongly believe in rewarding performance. Quantum will offer you a competitive cash compensation program. Individual results and overall business performance can create additional opportunities for increasing your compensation.
Bonus Plan
Quantum's bonus program is aligned to company strategic objectives and operational performance. Target rewards are closely tied to business results that employees can impact, such as Earnings Per Share (EPS) and their own individual performance. Bonuses are paid annually upon completion of the fiscal year.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
As an employee, you have the opportunity to become a shareholder. When you join Quantum and work 20 hours or more per week you may contribute up to 10 percent of your gross pay (up to the maximum allowable by the IRS) to our ESPP plan. It enables you to buy Quantum common stock at 85 percent of its market value. Purchases are made at the end of each six-month exercise period in either January or July. Employees contribute directly through after-tax payroll deductions.
401(k) Plan
Our 401(k) plan allows you to accumulate capital through pretax contributions. You can contribute up to 50 percent of your gross pay (up to the maximum allowable by the IRS). Quantum will match 50% of contributions up to the first 6% of pay on a per pay period basis. We offer multiple investment funds with varying risk levels.
Ongoing Career and Skills Development
Quantum's philosophy is to encourage life-long learning. When you join Quantum, you'll be eligible for educational reimbursement of $5,000 per year for qualified tuition and book expenses. We also offer internal and external training and development opportunities, intended to help you -- and Quantum -- be successful.
Flex Benefits
Benefits are an integral part of Quantum's total compensation package. We provide globally competitive, comprehensive, and cost-effective programs designed to meet the varying needs of our employees. When you join Quantum and work 30 hours or more per week, you are eligible to participate in the benefits program.
Quantum provides a Flex Benefits program that offers medical, dental, vision, short - and long-term disability, life insurance, health and dependent care reimbursement accounts, and more. Employees can tailor their benefits elections -- from basic catastrophic coverage to enhanced medical plans and increased levels of life and disability income protection.
Medical Care
When you join Quantum, you can select from several medical plan options. Quantum's health-care plans provide the option to cover you and your family or domestic partner. All of our medical plans provide preventative care, behavioral health and prescription drug coverage.
Dental Care
Dental coverage is an optional benefit offered to Quantum employees. You may select a comprehensive dental plan, which provides $2,000 per year to cover your eligible dental expenses. Additionally, $1,500 is available for orthodontic care. We also offer a dental maintenance organization plan, which saves you money by lowering your out-of-pocket expenses.
Vision Care
Vision care is automatically provided to Quantum employees who elect to participate in the medical plans. Vision care covers eligible expenses for eye exams, frames, lenses, or contact lenses for each of your covered dependents, up to plan maximums each year.
Disability, Life, and Accident Protection
Quantum's policy is to protect you in the case of unforeseen life events. We offer a variety of protection plans, including short-and long-term disability, group life insurance, spouse and child life insurance, survivor income benefits, and business travel accident insurance, which are all available at various levels of coverage.
The Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
Our employee assistance program is a confidential program that provides counseling sessions, legal help, and child or eldercare information for you and your family through a network of licensed professionals. Quantum provides this benefit at no cost to you.
Holidays and Paid Vacation Days
When you join Quantum, you are eligible to receive up to eleven (11) Company paid holidays per calendar year.
Your vacation accrual is based on your length of service. During your first year you will accrue up to 10 days per year. After 13 years of service, you accrue up to a maximum of 25 vacation days per year.
During our open enrollment, you can buy or sell vacation days. You can buy up to five (5) additional days of vacation or you may sell up to five (5) days of vacation (based on years of service) to help pay for your benefits.
Health/Fitness Center
You'll have the opportunity to improve your health and fitness at our on-site facilities (where available). If you're currently using your own facility, Quantum will reimburse you 50 percent (up to $200 per year) toward an individual or family membership in that facility.
Weight Loss and Smoking Cessation Programs
We reimburse employees for 50 percent of eligible expenses (up to $200 per year) for approved weight loss or smoking cessation programs.

Our Employee Referral Program
When you work for Quantum, you're eligible for a lucrative cash bonus each time you refer an individual who is hired as a full-time Quantum employee.

Quantum provides our employees up to $2,000 per year for eligible adoption expenses.
