The Card Resource Group Inc. was established in 1994 to provide recruiting services to credit card companies and to companies in related industries. We work primarily on searches at mid-to-senior management levels for candidates with a minimum of five years of progressive experience. Our clients include credit card issuers, acquirers, processors, consumer lenders, and technical service organizations. We are geared to finding candidates for positions in all areas of marketing, risk management, credit, finance, operations, process improvement, and sales. The salary levels of the positions for which we recruit generally range from $80,000 to senior management packages. Our search fee is equal to 30% of base annual salary for both contingent and retained searches. A search mobilization fee of $5000 is due at the outset of the search. That payment is deducted from the balance due upon completion of the assignment. All fees are paid by our clients, the hiring companies.
We work almost exclusively within the credit card, payments, and consumer finance industries. Our ongoing conversations with industry executives keep us in the loop regarding changes such as mergers and acquisitions. We attend several industry conferences each year (e.g., CTST, Visa’s IRKE meetings, Thomson Financial’s Card Forum, Nacha) in order to keep abreast of industry news and trends and to continue to build our network. Using this network, and our comprehensive industry knowledge, we are very effective at sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates. All of our candidates are found through networking and direct recruiting, as we do not advertise or source candidates on internet-housed résumé databases.
In addition to our direct recruiting efforts, we learn about qualified candidates through our recruiting partners in the NPA (National Personnel Associates) and the NBFSN (National Banking and Financial Services Network). These recruiting networks have been established to allow select search firms to share resources and work together on even the most challenging searches.
By utilizing all of these tools, we have successfully completed numerous searches for such demanding clients as Mastercard, First USA, E-Citi, Discover Financial Services, Cardinal Commerce.com, Metavante, Fiserv, and Paymentech.
