Throughout its 120-year history, Elk Horn Bank has played a leading role in the economic development of its communities. This mission took on an expanded commitment in 1988 when the newly chartered Southern Development Bancorporation acquired Elk Horn Bank and established it as Arkansas' first community development bank with a goal of spurring growth in rural southern and eastern Arkansas counties where economic vitality is waning.
Elk Horn Bank and its affiliates provide small business loans, technical assistance to borrowers, real estate management and development, housing loans for all income levels, workforce development and other programs targeted at the economic revitalization of rural Southern and Eastern Arkansas, particularly the Delta region. At the same time, we strive to meet these needs in the most convenient manner.
